The Anfibio Buddy expands our packing series with a large hip bag. As the big brother of the Anfibio MobilPack, it closes the gap between the Anfibio DeckPack (bow/stern/shoulder bag) and the Anfibio Companion (daypack). Like all other models, the Anfibio Buddy also reliably protects against moisture, dust and unauthorized access. Especially if you are separated from your main luggage (boat drifting away, lost backpack, inaccessible luggage), you have special protection for personal valuables by carrying it directly on your body.

The Anfibio Buddy comes with a simple design and many details:
Practical : With a capacity of 5 liters, the hip bag offers enough space for all (vital) essential equipment such as repair and first aid kits, rescue equipment, keys, cell phone, money, passport, snacks, GPS or binoculars. A throw bag or a tow line in particular remain within easy reach on paddling tours and - if not used - dry (anyone who has ever had to dry an unused throw bag after a tour will appreciate this).
Safe : If you go into the water voluntarily or involuntarily, your equipment will stay 100% dry and safely stored on your body in the Buddy. This is also very helpful in rain, sand and splashing water.
Versatile : Whether hiking in combination with a backpack, under the life jacket while packrafting and on the SUP, turned backwards when cycling or worn across the shoulder in the city - the hip bag can be adjusted quickly and easily for all activities and for different people.
Sorted : Inside there are two small separate pockets and a key ring so that valuables have a permanent place.
 
Use
Wherever it can get wet, dusty, unsafe or sporty, the Anfibio Buddy really comes into its own! This ranges from heavy rain showers in the city, triathlon competitions, wild swimming to packrafting adventures on your doorstep and in remote regions. Thanks to the submersible water resistance up to 1m under water (IPX7), the equipment in the hip bag always stays dry.
If you are out on rivers and in whitewater, the hip bag also becomes an important safety accessory in which essential items (such as a throw bag, cell phone, first aid kit, etc.) have a permanent place directly on your body. This way, these items are within reach in an emergency, even if the boat drifts away or becomes inaccessible.
 
Other applications
The Buddy is not only a faithful companion for all common water sports such as packrafting, SUP, sailing, wild swimming, kayaking or rowing. The hip bag also quickly becomes irreplaceable for other (outdoor) activities such as motorcycle tours, fishing, trail running, hiking or traveling in humid areas (tropics).
 
Care with silicone grease
To keep the bag's zipper running smoothly and to increase its lifespan, we recommend treating it occasionally with silicone grease.
Excess residue should be removed with a cloth to prevent dirt particles from sticking to the teeth. This could lead to leaks.
 
Material
The material of the hip bag is, like our boats, TPU coated nylon. This makes the Anfibio Buddy particularly light and at the same time extremely robust.
